Introduction of Linda Valentino MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Director of Nursing and Patient Care Services

Linda Valentino MSN, RN, NEA-BC joined The Rockefeller University Hospital senior staff leadership team as Director of Nursing and Patient Care Services in March 2016.  She is responsible for administrative direction, leadership, and management of the Hospital's Nursing and Patient Care Services for the inpatient and outpatient units, including the Department of Nursing and Social Services.   
Ms. Valentino joins The Rockefeller University Hospital with 30 years of experience in nursing management and executive leadership roles in world-class nonprofit healthcare systems in the New York City metropolitan region. Her clinical nursing specialties have included Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Critical Care/Trauma, Community Health, and Clinical Research Nursing. She is recognized as an outstanding leader in her field with a strong record of accomplishment as a team leader and collaborative partner, and her depth of expertise in Care Management, Transitions of Care, Community Health, Quality and Research is widely respected.

Ms. Valentino holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wagner College. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the Case Management Society of America (CMSA). Ms. Valentino has published numerous articles and presented extensively at national, state and local professional forums.
